Use it to prepare a clearer RFQ, request matching samples, and compare supplier evidence before bulk production.
OEKO-TEX, NFPA 701 and Curtain Compliance Support
Every BEYOND-CURTAIN curtain is manufactured under internationally recognized quality, safety, and social compliance standards. We help wholesale, retail, hospitality, e-commerce, and project buyers confirm the documents needed before sampling or bulk production.
Buyer path: Target market -> Fabric/function requirement -> Document check -> Compliance RFQ.
Compliance At A Glance
- OEKO-TEX Standard 100 - Textile safety certification and harmful substance testing.
- BSCI - Business social compliance auditing.
- NFPA 701 - Flame-retardant testing for project and hospitality curtains.
- REACH Compliance - Available for EU-market shipments.
- 3rd-Party Inspection - SGS / TUV / Intertek / Bureau Veritas welcomed.
OEKO-TEX Standard 100
What it certifies: Every component of the textile, including fabric, thread, button, zipper, and coating, has been tested for more than 100 harmful substances and confirmed safe for human contact.
Why it matters for buyers: Required by many major retailers, hotel chains, and home textile brands in North America and Europe. Without OEKO-TEX, your products may be rejected by big-box buyers, Amazon FBA programs, and EU importers.
BEYOND-CURTAIN's status: In-house fabrics can be tested under OEKO-TEX Standard 100 protocols. We provide certificate documentation for each fabric series upon request, including test scope and validity period.
Request OEKO-TEX certificate documents ->BSCI - Business Social Compliance Initiative
What it certifies: Audited compliance with international labor standards: working hours, wages, workplace safety, child labor protection, freedom of association, and environmental responsibility.
Why it matters for buyers: Increasingly required by European retail chains and ESG-conscious brands. A BSCI-audited supplier reduces your risk of supply chain scandals and consumer backlash.
BEYOND-CURTAIN's status: Our facility participates in continuous improvement cycles. Audit reports are available for buyers' due diligence when project requirements call for them.
Request BSCI audit report ->NFPA 701 Requirements For Curtain Projects
What it covers: NFPA 701 contains test methods for evaluating flame propagation of textiles and films. A project may name this or another method depending on the destination, building use, contract documents, and authority having jurisdiction.
Why it matters for buyers: A general "FR"claim is not enough. The RFQ should identify the required method and edition, specimen construction, conditioning or cleaning route, report scope, offered fabric identity, and the party responsible for project acceptance.
Testing support: Project-grade fabrics can be submitted to qualified third-party laboratories when the buyer or project requires testing. Reports and samples still need to be checked against the exact offered construction, color, finish, lining, care route, and production lot.
Before choosing a fabric route, review the FR-treated versus inherently FR curtain fabric comparison. Then use the commercial FR curtain requirement guide to prepare the method, report, traceability, and approval questions for the project.
Request NFPA 701 test report ->For project planning, buyers can also review our hotel curtain supplier program and room divider curtain sets before sending track drawings, room schedules, and compliance requirements.

Compliance Details Buyers Should Send With An RFQ
Compliance requirements change by fabric, destination market, buyer channel, and project use. A clear RFQ helps us confirm which documents are relevant before samples or bulk production move forward.
| RFQ Detail | Why It Helps Compliance Review |
|---|---|
| Product category | Blackout, sheer, hotel, outdoor, shower, or private label orders may need different checks. |
| Destination and channel | Retail, hospitality, e-commerce, tender, importer, and project programs can ask for different documentation. |
| Fabric and function | Fiber route, coating, recycled content, flame-retardant request, care route, and other functions affect document relevance. |
| FR document route | Hotel and public-space buyers should clarify whether the request is for fabric, finished curtain, batch, or project-specific testing. |
| Requested proof | Certificate copy, test scope, validity period, washing or care limits, audit support, or third-party inspection should be specified early. |
Need Specific Compliance Documentation?
Tell us your target market and product category, and we will send the exact certificates you need for tender, customs clearance, or due diligence review, usually within one business day. For first orders, attach the compliance scope to your RFQ, carton plan, and pre-deposit checklist so the same product, fabric, and report identity stay connected.
