Maersk said it is monitoring the Middle East situation and listed land-bridge solutions through ports including Salalah, Khor Fakkan, Fujairah, Jebel Ali, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, and Aqaba. The carrier also noted temporary empty-container return arrangements for several Gulf destinations.
The update matters because a shipment that looked simple at quotation stage may need revised handover, empty-return, or inland assumptions before the factory releases packed curtains.
This news is most relevant to buyers of finished curtains from China shipping to UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, or Oman. Finished panels carry carton-count, room-label, SKU split, and warehouse handover risk that fabric rolls do not carry in the same way.
