Curtain Deposit Payment Milestones For First Bulk Orders

For a first bulk curtain order, the deposit is not only a finance step. It is the point where the buyer accepts the PI, PO, sample standard, SKU table, packaging route, carton marks, QC evidence plan, and shipment release terms. If those items are vague, the balance-payment stage becomes harder to control.

Buyer Summary

Importers, wholesalers, distributors, and trading companies should connect payment milestones with production proof. The deposit should release only after the order file is complete, and the balance payment should wait for agreed QC, packing, carton, and shipment evidence.

Confirm What The Deposit Actually Releases

A deposit may release fabric booking, dyeing, cutting, packaging purchase, label printing, or production capacity. Ask the supplier to state what will start after payment. If custom fabric, private-label packaging, or a mixed-SKU order is involved, the buyer needs written confirmation before funds move.

Use the curtain order checklist before deposit payment as the control gate for PI, PO, approved sample, packaging artwork, carton marks, QC plan, Incoterm, and shipment terms.

Make Mixed-SKU Payment Risk Visible

A mixed curtain order may combine stock fabrics, custom colors, several sizes, different headings, and private-label packs. Payment risk changes when one SKU is ready while another waits for fabric or packaging. Before agreeing to milestones, connect the SKU table with the mixed-SKU MOQ and lead-time planning guide.

Do Not Leave Packaging To The Balance Stage

Private-label orders should confirm care labels, hangtags, barcode files, insert cards, polybags, carton marks, and retail pack ratios before deposit. If packaging is approved late, the buyer may face a choice between delaying shipment and accepting a non-standard pack. Link the file to the private label curtain manufacturing route.

Link Balance Payment To Carton And Freight Data

Before balance payment, request carton count, carton size, gross weight, CBM, packing list, carton mark photos, and sealed-carton photos. Use the bulk curtain shipping estimator to check whether final carton data still matches the freight plan.
